Situated at the northern edge of Central Park along the Harlem Meer, the Davis Center is a year-round recreational facility featuring an ice rink, swimming pool, turf fields, and community spaces. Its design integrates complex curves, a cast-in-place concrete structure, a green roof, and a glass-and-metal façade. Augmented Construction led digital coordination through Construction BIM Services and Design Phase Coordination, developing a comprehensive model to ensure system-wide constructability. All trades were integrated into a coordinated BIM environment, enabling early conflict resolution. During construction, Laser Layout Services projected the curved façade geometry onsite, improving installation precision, reducing layout time, and streamlining one of the project’s most technically demanding elements.
