We specialize in Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), combining BIM, laser scanning, and field coordination to reduce risk and create project clarity from concept to closeout.

Carl Ericson

CEO

With 20 years of experience working with global firms such as Cushman & Wakefield and Tishman Speyer, and educated at the Cooper Union in Engineering, Carl has successfully executed over 1B dollars in project volume across a range of sectors including vertical multifamily, sports facilities, commercial, and medical facilities.

He is a champion for the use of technology in the construction process, and a leader in the proptech space working with groups globally.

Carl founded AuC, in partnership with Micah Nickerson, in order to pursue a vision of bringing together technology, along with the expertise of proven industry professionals, to achieve unprecedented levels of scope certainty to augment the development process.

Micah Nickerson

CTO

A true leader in the application and adoption of technology in the field who is revolutionizing how construction data is visualized and utilized on-site, Micah is a Cooper Union & Harvard educated Registered Architect and Data Scientist with 20 years of industry experience.

Licensed in multiple states with a focus on scope certain construction documentation, he has a wide range of high-rise residential, medical, and commercial experience. Founding Augmented Construction, in partnership with Carl Ericson, he leads technological efforts and applies data science to real-world real estate problems.

Victoria Roxo Ericson

Design Director

After growing up in the project management and design industry Victoria Roxo Ericson, received her Bachelors of Architecture degree from the Cooper Union School of Architecture and then continued her studies in London, England at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design where she received her Masters of Art.

As the Design Director for AuC she brings with her 30 years of experience in Architecture, Design, and Project Management, and her work spans residential, cultural, historic preservation & commercial facilities. Some of her feature projects include the Historic Restoration of the Belasco Theater, Beacon Theater, and Apollo Theater as well as RFE TV studios and the Wagner Pavillion in NYC. She is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Luke Ericson

Senior Project Manager

Luke brings over 20 years of professional experience, founded in the fundamentals of design and construction with a keen eye for detail. He is focused on coordination across multiple disciplines, while never losing sight of the linchpin, the schedule.

He understands the value of thought-provoking design and bringing that collaborative vision to fruition. Providing a highly technical BIM background while grounding it in real life construction practices, he's managed complex projects of various sizes spanning healthcare, recreational facilities, multi-family, mixed use, historic preservation, and adaptive reuse.

Managing projects from inception to completion with highly-motivated volunteer boards for Country Clubs, Private Schools and Community Facilities. He collaborated with teams of professionals, internally, while coordinating with consultants and provided administration through budgeting and construction to deliver a high-quality finished product.

Andrew Northshield

Head of Applied Technology

Our Head of Applied Technology, Andrew, is a retired fire fighter and former Corporal in the United States Marine Corps that brings decades of building and code expertise to our survey and layout work. He has performed LiDAR scanning on more than one million square feet of project space, capturing precise digital representations of complex environments.

Andrew’s field experience and precision-driven approach have made him a trusted expert in spatial data and project visualization. He has also executed laser layout operations on tens of thousands of linear feet using LightYX systems. His work bridges the gap between traditional construction and cutting-edge digital methods. Andrew continues to combine his passion for service, precision, and innovation in every project he undertakes.
